WHOOP! WHOOP! I’ve lost another pound!
In my last blog, I wrote about the changes I made during 2019. Not only did I overcome my fear of flying, but I also: lost fifteen pounds, quit drinking alcohol, began exercising daily, and launched a daily writing habit.
WHEW! Lots of empowering changes!
These changes weren’t easy, but today I will begin describing the reframing techniques that made them possible.
Before we begin, I want to emphasize the importance of writing your answers to the following questions. Studies show that writing vs just thinking improves your focus and boosts your motivation. Writing helps you clarify your thoughts and builds a stronger commitment to your goals.
I wrote pages of notes answering these questions. Writing will solidify your need to change and serve as a record to help you stay motivated.
